Sentimental Spaces

When Gabby & Jon started planning their wedding, they thought, “What’s a better place to get married than the place we grew up?” Both of them are Washington natives currently dwelling in Austin, Texas, and this day truly was a homecoming for all their friends and family that attended.

A lot of the time the most sentimental spaces to us are the ones with the most familiarity. We’ve filmed and photographed all kinds of weddings, but there’s something truly special about getting to capture a couple getting married in a place that they have history in.

Going Home

Gabby got ready at her parent’s home in Washington surrounded by all the friends and family she holds near and dear. Jon and his groomsmen took a morning dip in the creek before retreating to the balcony where all sorts of ruckus ensued.

Vineyard Vibes 

And of course you need a place to party, right? Gabby & Jon had their wedding day at Icicle Ridge in Leavenworth. The ceremony was full of laughter and tears, with even the pond ducks having something to say during Jon’s vows.

Some heartfelt toasts, a first dance or three, and an epic party compete with an air cannon closed out the night on a very special hometown wedding.
