Our team members are based in Austin, Texas & Portland, OR but are available to travel anywhere! 

Overnight accommodations will be requested for weddings over three hours away. We have packages for U.S. Elopements & Destination Weddings that include travel cost, but depending on location and season, there may need to be additional travel compensation. A custom package can be created for International Weddings.

To reserve your date, we require a 30% non-refundable retainer. We break down the remainder of your payments into a custom payment schedule with the full amount of your invoice due no later than 30 days before your wedding day. We have accounts with various secure online payment services. Zelle (bank transfer) is preferred to avoid processing fees but credit cards are accepted with a 3% processing fee.

Depending on the season & your particular deliverables, the delivery time frame may vary, but these are some general expectations. Because we take our work so personally and hand-craft each deliverable, we try to take a limited number of weddings a year to give each couple the same detailed experience. But alas, sometimes everyone gets married in the same month. We can definitely speed edit, but we prefer to give you a quality product you will enjoy for the rest of your life than give you immediate gratification from a rushed video or photo deliverable. We do send about 50-80 preview photos within one week of the wedding day and a teaser video/Instagram Reels can be purchased as Add Ons.

Our studio captures with an experience-first mentality, ensuring our couples feel safe and free to be vulnerable, spontaneous and present in the moment with their friends and family before thinking about fulfilling a shot list. We achieve this by being personable, allowing moments to play out naturally, and working closely with our couple to ensure their preferences and personalities are heard before we even show up for the wedding capture. If you want a laundry list of group photos and editorial posed images, we may not be the best fit for your day. If you want a candid, imperfect & artistically mindful capture, then we’re your team.

Some words we would use to describe our style and the couples who book us are alternative, indie, creative, mindful, edgy, down to earth, adventurous, confident in their unique style but not look obsessed. 

We will always respectfully work with other photographers & videographers, especially folks who are like-minded, collaborative, and communicative. We value a team mentality and have a list of vendors we enjoy working with who we’d love to recommend to you if you haven’t found that person yet.

Super 8 is a film medium capturing video on a vintage camera. You may have seen it in music videos, tv shows, or wedding films. It’s super cool and adds a unique element to the documentation of your elopement or wedding day. We offer the option to have Super 8 mixed into your Highlight Video (what we’d call mixed-medium) or you can opt to have your wedding filmed entirely on Super 8 with our Super 8 Mini Film package. Super 8 Mini Films can also be added to any Photography package. 

Our Photography packages always include a blend of digital and film (35mm/120) photography. For Videography, we mainly capture 4K footage on digital cameras but we love mixed media and offer camcorder style video & Super 8 film as Add Ons. We also offer a wedding video that is filmed entirely on Super 8 which we call a Super 8 Mini Film.
